Pure Nightmare Fuel

These dancing monstrosities haunted my dreams when I was a child. Thank you television from the 70s, but thank you even more to YouTube for allowing me to confront my childhood fears.

thank you oh so much for that.

just goes to show that playing with lithium and alcohol in front of a keyboard and mutual of omaha is a potentially generation destroying situation.

I've heard of "Muskrat Love," but I've never seen/heard it. My reactions:

1) Captain is kinda cute.
2) I never realized how impenetrable the Dorothy Hammil-cut was. That thing could deflect bullets.
3) Now I know how Furries got their start.
4)WHAT THE EVER-LOVING, MOTHER-DOVING, HOLY SHIVA THE DESTROYER DID I JUST WATCH?!

That's great that you can confront your childhood fears! I probably couldn't do that since my childhood fear has blossomed into my adulthood fear!

So I'm watching this and suddenly wondered if someone slipped something into my water when the animals started floating down from the ceiling...

Heather, the 70s were a strange time.

Alex, 1) I think he is just called "The Captain" because of his hat - I am not really sure if he has spent time in the Navy.

2) There was a time when I thought that hairstyle was really a helmet.

3) Ah, Furries, only you can be looked down upon by Star Trek fans and comic book geeks.

4) Now imagine you are an impressionable youngster.

NoR, the way to get that song out of your head it to just sing, "It's a Small World, After All" three times fast.

Tera, were you frightened by Darby O'Gill and the Little People, too?

Susan, I think the people performing the song are a little freaked out by the muskrats, too. Cocaine is a helluva drug.
