I have no idea. They lasted about half a mile down the road and ended with an empty photo box. I don't know if you can tell or not, but several of them have tire tracks on them and pavement imprints on them.
When I picked them up and carried them into Starbucks, the barista tried to make conversation by asking me if I was a wedding photographer. I told her, no, I was into found art. She didn't know what to make of that.
I saved my favorite picture for the end. Something about the bride's down-turned, out-of-focus face makes the shadowy mother figure in the background more menacing.
Susan, you are right. I am sure it was just a random moment that could have been misinterpreted, but it really stood out from the rest of them.
Alex, I was a little sad to find them. They stretched over about a half mile, and I posted about 1/3 of what I picked up. Something about seeing happy faces run over by tire tracks brought out the sentimental side.
The first thing that came to my mind was that the bride was kind of hot... the second thing that came to mind was wondering if she was still married...
After the tornado, we found all kinds of photos from the sorority house a few blocks away.it was kind of sad, because we had no way to get them back to the students.

Great... now I'm dying to know whether the photos were intentionally or accidentally thrown out...

The Found Magazine site? Already in progress.

That's the site I send any random pictures I find to.
I love/hate the last picture because it's all sad and real. :(
Very cool. Your title almost made it seem like you were disappointed to score such a choice find.
